Gastroenterology Associates needed a new website to coincide with their rebranding to Digestive Care Center. This site utilizes Wordpress as a CMS featuring a completely custom theme and template system designed exclusively for DCC. All print and other collateral now follow the visual style defined in this website design.
Notable features include:
- Featured Provider display on front page, auto-populated with user details
- Custom Articles display on front page
- Auto-generated user profile pages using custom fields and navigation based on user role (e.g., physician, mid-level provider, etc.)
- Auto-generated Our Team page based on user role, making adding a new team member as simple as adding a user account
- Custom-drawn campus map
- Retina display support
- SEO integration
Other responsibilities included content generation, hosting migration, Google Analytics and Webmaster tools integration and ongoing maintainence and development.
Front page features rotating banner, auto-populating articles and Featured Provider content powered by custom fields in user profiles.
Our Team page is auto-generated based on user roles, e.g., Physician, Mid-Level Provider, etc.
User/author pages use custom fields to provide structured content, e.g. Certification, Medical School, etc.
Articles pages include author photo, name, title and other articles they've written.
